Decompression Procedures

Decompression Training

Progression: Advanced Nitrox diving -> Decompression training or Helitrox -> Extended Range or Normoxic Trimix courses.

Advanced Nitrox

$350/day

Plan and dive advanced nitrox mixes up to 100% oxygen to extend no-decompression limits and accelerate decompression during your decompression training. Prerequisites include having a Nitrox certification, being 18 years old, and completing 25 logged dives. This course allows for depths up to 130 ft (40 m) and requires a minimum of 2 days. Additionally, consider enrolling in normoxic trimix courses for further advanced training.

Decompression Procedures

$350/day

Staged decompression planning, gas switching, and failure management are key components of our advanced nitrox diving program, utilizing a single decompression gas. This decompression training requires participants to be 18 years old and have logged a minimum of 25 dives. Courses can accommodate depths of up to 150 ft (45 m) and will last a minimum of 2 days. We also offer normoxic trimix courses for those looking to expand their skills further.

AN/DP

$350/day

The Advanced Nitrox Diving and Decompression Training course is offered together as a single program, serving as the most common entry point into technical diving. Prerequisites include having a Nitrox certification, being at least 18 years old, and having completed 25 logged dives. Participants can explore depths of up to 150 ft (45 m) over a minimum duration of 4 days. This course lays the foundation for further education, including normoxic trimix courses.

Helitrox

$350/day

Decompression procedures utilizing a helium-based back gas (up to 20% helium) aid in reducing narcosis at depth. This training is part of advanced nitrox diving and is available for those who have completed decompression training. Prerequisites include being at least 18 years old, having 25 logged dives, and having completed Advanced Nitrox (or taking it concurrently). The depth limit is 150 ft (45 m), with a minimum duration of 2 days. Additionally, participants can also explore normoxic trimix courses to enhance their diving skills.

AN / Helitrox

$350/day

This course combines advanced nitrox diving and helitrox, introducing helium into your first decompression training. Prerequisites include a Nitrox certification, being at least 18 years old, and having logged 25 dives. The training reaches depths of up to 150 ft (45 m) and requires a minimum of 4 days to complete. Ideal for those pursuing normoxic trimix courses in the future.

Normoxic Trimix

$350/day

Trimix with 18% or more oxygen is essential for advanced nitrox diving, particularly for deeper decompression dives that utilize multiple deco gases. To enroll in this decompression training, prerequisites include having completed Decompression Procedures or Helitrox, being at least 18 years old, and having logged 100 dives. This course covers depths of up to 200 ft (60 m) and requires a minimum of 3 days for completion, making it an excellent introduction to normoxic trimix courses.

Technical courses, including advanced nitrox diving, decompression training, and normoxic trimix courses, are billed at $350 per day of instruction. Fees do not cover gas fills, site admission, equipment rental, travel, meals, or lodging. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
